Default timing chain help PLEASE.

ok, im trying to take the smaller timing chain sprocket off the cranshaft. I tried everything. is there some kind of tip you guys can give me to help. thnaks alot. Larry

took mine to a machine shop, but im sure thats probably not an option for you. try a balancer puller. other than that, all i can say is get a flat punch and a hammer and work all the sides of it. good luck!

thanks man. i tried a 3 arm puller??? guess ill just have to try a few other things.

Use the same puller that you used to pull your crank pulley off. Thats what I did and it came off in like 30 seconds. It doesnt require anywhere near the effort the crank pulley does, but it still needs the puller.
