Default ARP main studs...

If I add main studs to my motor should I get the main honed or can I just replace the stock studs and live happy?

If all you are doing is replacing the bolts with studs, nothing else is required. If you are using differnt main caps, then a align bore/hone would be necessary. If you are doing this with the engine removed from the car it probably would be a good idea to replace the bearings.

Thanks for the reply...aparently no one has ARP main studs in stock they are backordered for a month or 2. I would assume you should hone the mains but probably not necessary.

Phil,

I just got my main studs from LS1 Speed. They were backordered but shipped last Tuesday.
