Default Question about L92 Heads and VRX3 Cam

Hey guys, got my motor out, bout to get rebuilt, and i have a question concerning some numbers. Is anyone out there running l92 heads on a ls1? Any issues as far as chamber size/ compression ratio with stock pistons? Im looking at the Vengeance Racing X3 Camshaft. My car is a daily driver, but not for too long. My question is, what gains can I expect with this cam and l92's. I am running long tubes. Would I be better off getting a mild stall and retaining stock heads or l92's with the cam and stock converter? The car is an A4 2000 Z28. Is this too much power for an a4? Im a torque guy, so low to midrange power is more important to peak power, as this motor will probably never see anything over 6k rpm. Any other cams you guys can think of that would be better? I really want a good performance gain over stock, but this is not a drag car by any means. Also, with l92s and the cam is there an issue with fuel delivery as far as needing bigger injectors etc? THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS!

also are stock ls6 head take offs worth the money? Im finding great deals on them under 500 bucks, which is what one l92 head costs. the l92 already comes with valvesprings good up to .600 where the ls6 does not, which is the only diff. What kind of gains would I expect with the 226/228 vengance x3 and ls6 heads as opposed to the l92s. Thanks I know someone has the answers to my crazy questions

If you're a torque guy, stroke it and use small port, small valve heads. And a mild cam with very little overlap.

I would upgrade to the stock LS6 heads you refer to IF your cam's lift is within spec of the LS6 springs.

Otherwise, it pays to get an assembled P&P set with the springs of your choice.

well i might just run the stock heads if theres not alot of torque on the table. noticing how badley they match up with exhaust gaskets, is gasket matching ls1 heads safe?
