LS6 engine is almost the same as LS1 engine so it almost a direct bolt in except for LS6 intake manifold which is a little different than LS1 manifold. i think the differece will be the EGR and AIR connections in the LS6 intake manifold that is different than the LS1 intake manifold.
why you don't install a LS2 or L92 engine in your car they are better than the LS6?

or pick up some ls6 heads and put a different cam in, you will be in better shape then the ls6 after that and it will be cheaper unless your current motor is toast
