ported ones
depends alot on your combo.ls6 heads ported out would be the best.On a large cube engine 6.0l heads would work as well as the ls6. on a stk cube 5.3 heads will get you more compression.
I use TEA heads but there are many to choose from. I like them because of the repeatability of a cnc machine and the price.GTP's are very nice also. Absolute has many followers also.good luck

Re: which heads give the best results
GTP and MTI have the better ET's out there mainly cause they were the first on the market. Also many of the top cars run them. Now the quicker stock internal NS cars are going with the more bang for the budget heads like TEA and AS so its gonna be interesting to see how far they get with those. Im one of the bang for the buck cars. I just got a set of stage 1.5 TEA 5.3 heads and im lookin to fall in the 11.0-11.2 range. I doubt I can hit 10's cause weight is against my car.
Im looking for the ET lists to swing from GTP's to TEA and AS heads here soon. Cause these bolt on cars running 11.5-8's stock are gonna kick butt with heads/cam
plus would you rather pay 2400-2800 bucks for heads or 1300-1700?? You pick

Re: which heads give the best results
i havent heard anything really bad about them... so they are pretty good also. Bascially just so a search and see how they perform at the track.. They could dyno 440hp but only run upper 11's and that would suck
the track tells the tale of who's the best
