Default 346ci out 408ci (Iron Block) in

Like the title says... Question is.. what needs to be looked over on the heads???

I have LS6 heads and im gonna keep em.. valve size is 2.00 1.57 I think... (cartek 2x heads)

Im gonna have the chamber opened up to accomidate the larger bore... any other suggestions???

I'd say go with some 2.020's, and I bet those extra cubes would love some more cam if you haven't done so already

Just need to drill the boss, then tap it, for the alternator bracket to mount up.

There are 3 mounting holes 4 the alt and only 1 boss that can be drilled ! one boss is missing its the main one 4 the mount?

You'll be fine with the three bolts.

It probably went to **** because we would need more info to properly answer your question. 346 -> 408 what? Is the 408 a basic setup, or is it built for 1000rwhp? As posted, what cam, what pistons, any other mods. The 243 heads will bolt up to a 408, beyond that we don't know what you need extra to make it work on your setup. Hence ask **** = **** thread.

Cam= nitrous cam (not too sure of the specs yet but hyd. roller)
pistons= JE
built to handle 145-150mph traps...
3:42 gear
heads= ls6
trans= 4l60e (rpm trans)
2 stages of nitrous... plate kit + dp system...
anything else???
