Hey guys i got an 02 z28 pretty much stock except for a magnaflow catback, i was wondering what would be the easiest and fastest way to get more sound out of it without adding headers, i wanna get it louder let me know of any cheap ways i can do this,

go get an exhaust cut out. you can take the cap off and be loud, and put it back on an be quite. it should cost around 60-80 dollars total.

where does the cutout go before cat or after the cat, also would it still pass admission with a cutout?

The cutout goes after the cat. I had mine put right before the exhaust starts to bend over the axle. I haven't had any issues with inspections because before I take it in, I put the cap back on and it quiets down quite a bit. Hope this helps.

cutout in the I pipe, just under the passenger seat before the axle. You should be fine with emissions as long as you cap up the cut out before you go.

Cheapest way would be to just cut off the muffler

But really, like what everyone else said, just get yourself a cut-out.
