Default Patrick G tuned my TRAK cammed, PRC LS6 2.5's car. Results inside

Thanks to everyone who was involved:

Jason from TSP for his recommendations and for getting the compression on the heads to compliment the cam and gaskets.

Rudy- who installed everything, amazing work!! and those who helped him out... Dan and Steve

Patrick G and Kurt (the guy who has the dyno). These are some down to earth nice guys, professional and passionate about their work. Patrick is great and is very detailed about his work. I got to ride at WOT in his car....insane, sick and ridiculous Everyone at the shop was professional and great car enthusiasts!

Ok so these PRC heads are the LS6 stage 2.5's =$1300. I have stock: gears, rocker arms and water pump. My 90/90 set up is not ported. This combo just worked out well. Here's what I did...

I'm just wondering if you had to alter the pistons with this set-up? How is piston-to-valve clearance?

P.S. Awesome numbers by the way.

The duration and LSA on that cam should tell you that there most likely wasn't a need to flycut.

Honestly you can't....

And for the others, the P to V clearance as Steveo346 mentioned is fine, didn't have to do anything.

i wonder how their LS6 heads compare to their 5.3L heads. TSP always seem to push their 5.3L heads. i am not sure why. good numbers for sure.

Yeap, Patrick tunes this one well, look at the fuel curve, nothing linear about it, more and less just in the right places, I wish i was back home in TX, I would surely make sure to get to know Patrick better

Glad you're so happy with the tune Pete. Your car really responded to fattening up the A/F ratio at peak torque. Just look at the numbers. 456 rwtq! Geez! Your mid-range is insane. A great combination of parts without a doubt.

Okay, you've got me upset now. Your torque being higher than mine!

Are you running stock cubes?

Except for your intake lift, i have a slightly bigger cam in my 383 block, yet i'm 27 rwtq less. gggrrrr.....

It must be in your tune, I had a local speed shop tune my car early this summer - I think I need to take a trip down to Texas to meet Patrick G.

Yepp 346. It's all in the tune. It's amazing what these guys in Victoria can do. Worth the trip.
