Default LS6 vs Z06 cylinder heads

Are they exactly the same? This is probably a duh question, just wanting to be sure. If so, how much is a set of these heads box stock worth? Thanks!

That's what I'm looking for, except with Patriot duals installed unless me buying them and installing them for $250 is the way to go. I guess that shows what a deal Texas Speed has on their ported ones. Are yours the 243 casting or their LS6 "style' heads? If you have a link or contact person, let me know. Thanks

The exhaust valves on 243s off the z06 are sodium filled wereasthe $400 patriots are regular valves .That being said you can get stock 243s from patriot with stock springs for around $400 . Though ifyou are going to get duals that are another $250 might as well go for their stage 2 cnc ported heads with assembled valvtrain with duals and titanium retainers.

Z06 have sodium filled valves. they weigh less. should be able the rev them more without valve float.

So no real point in trying to assemble some 243 heads with dual springs myself for $650 plus the good valves. I may also keep my eyes out for someone selling take offs.
