Default New 370 cid Stealth setup

Well, after last year's overall victory at the races, I've decided to bring the Z back on the street.
Much careful consideration and budget dictates this is the best way for me to do so.
Initially I was thinking going FI (SC) on the camaro, but I also have a C6 and Bo white is making me some nice ported 317s.
So I've decided to use the 317s on the C6 with a Maggie 7+psi, this should reduce the SCR and allow me to run a bit more boost than the 5psi the 10.9 SCR allows. (But that is another project, back to the camaro).

I'm after maximizing the combo in a Stealth fashion, smog legal street terror.

So this is what is gonna happen:

Motor specs:

LME 370 cid
Hellfire rings
Wiseco 2cc slugs
stock stroke
6.125 rods
58cc 5.3L, 4.0 bore PRC ported heads
2.04/1.57 valves
80 mm BBK TB
80 mm Modified LS6
Modified MAC MID headers
K&N FIPK
CAM 224/222 .609/.581 117 LSA (XFI/XE-R), {my grind }

That will keep the 12:1 SCR with a DCR of 8.8, (Fine on 94 Octane and TR6 plugs)

Add up to 150 wet Nitrous Dave's Plate kit and that should be enough to keep most mongers at bay while being totaly stealth with cats and
-11* overlap

I'll keep you posted of the results.

I am very interested in your results. This is something me and a buddie have been wanting to do for some time now. We have a bunch of ford boys around here that talk alot of **** about running until we crank our cars up and they change their mind. If we had something like this they wouldnt know what the hell just out ran them, lol.

Interesting cam choice. I would have thought you would go with something a little higher on the lift and more negative overlap. Good luck and post up the results.

Yes, I miss driving that beast and it's throttle response. As the years pass it is kinda like part of the family.

BTW I'm having Thunder Racing grind the cam.
David H. is my contact there.

Sounds somewhat similar to my intended setup. My cam is a bit more noticeable, but only to a trained ear. Im interested to see what this setup produces for you. Subscribing!

I think It will drop a bit in the peak numbers but will maintain the trq output and more earlier in the rpms.
Previously 453rwhp/424rwtq
Expecting 43x/41x
