Its not too bad. I dont daily drive the car but I could if I had to. Just keep the RPM's up and dont lug it. And it still gets around 25 MPG on the highway.

If you have it superbly tuned, then you can drive it (and more importantly, enjoy it) every day. Otherwise, you can still get 95% of the power with 50% fewer driveability headaches. Something closer to a 230/230 112LSA cam would be more of a daily driver cam that would still make big power.

Just remember that on the street a trex will lose alot of the time to a smaller cam car. I say go with something a little bit smaller than the trex. Are you going to go to the track alot? If not then don't bother with it.

From the feedback I got a while ago, I was asking about a MS4 with 4.10s and how bad it would surge. I still think it's all about the tuner, heard the cam still has surge down low especially in 6th gear if it's a manual. It still all depends on the tuner though. I'm still going to get it though

Dude go with a Vindicator. You barely lose any low end power down low and it makes retarded power up top. Or speak to Chumma. You can have your cake and eat it too baby. Whooooooooo

You'll probably be able to put up with it for a few months because it sounds cool and gets a lot of attention, but once the newness wears off I think you'll regret it. I did and I didn't even daily drive mine.

That's not to say that the T-ReX isn't a good cam, but it isn't something I can imagine any sane person who knows what he's talking about would recommend as a daily-driver cam.

Patriot Golds will be fine, but seriously, that is too big of a cam unless you're willing to dish out the $$$ for supporting mods. How are you gonna feel when a 228 cammed guy whip your butt from a stand.
Be reasonable, a good 23x cam with the righ VEs will sound as mean and perform much better all around.

the only thing that turned me off about the trex is the powerband doesnt start until 3500 RPMs and the MS4 starts at 2100
