Default LS6 Block

Jesus, I know this a has been talked about time and again, but need to get something staight.
There is a 02 SS in the vehicle classified section, and someone posted that all 01 and 02 got the LS6 block, I want to raise the BS Flag, but was Chevy different then Pontiac?

10% of 2001 F-Bodies got the LS6 block and 25% of 2002 F-Bodies got the LS6 block.

I also think all the '03+ LS1's will receive the LS6 block.
