Default Noisy valvetrain help

For some reason my valvetrain (918's with stock rockers) is loud on the driver's side. The springs have about 8k miles on them. Is there anything I can do to quiet it down a bit?

You might want to pull the valve cover and have a quick look and make sure nothing has come loose or been damaged.

There was a bad batch of 918's a little while back....I'd look into that!

Unfortunately I have no way of finding out if these are the bad batch springs since I got them from a friend. What are some of the signs of a bad spring from this batch?
