I would go with a .040 head gasket, but you will still have to flycut the pistons.

I'm no expert, but when I went with .040" gaskets, my machinist said that it was fairly extreme and said he wouldn't recommend any thinner. Keep in mind that the piston actually comes up out of the bore by a few thousandths (like .007" or something), so you're going to have less than .030" clearance between the heads and the pistons.

You need to tell us how much the piston is out of the hole. Do you know?

PTV will be super tight, and piston to head would be borderline i bet. deck height will grow a little though.

What is the spec of your cam? I am getting ready to install Dart 205's with my 233/233 and I am using a .040 head gasket.
