Default has anyone ever got 500 rwhp out of ls1 in n/a form

i tried to search-but the search tool was not working-just came up with a blank screen-maybe it has never been talked about?

my ? to all is has anyone got 500 rwhp in n/a form from a ls1- 346 only-standard pistions or aftermarket-does not matter etc etc

wether using 243 heads+or other heads-even if comp was up-ported inlet or not does not matter-

huge cam or whatever -but still driveable on the street with 93-98 octane

no turbo or n20-just n/a form with pump fuel and driveable-

or is their a border line to get to 500 rwhp-

any info would be good-
Thankyou-

How many of those pulls were made on Mustang Dyno's and how many were made on Dynojet's? Need to compare apples to apples!

None of them were made on Mustang Dynos. Not even the Mustang Dynos that are "recalibrated" to put out Dynojet numbers.

All of these cars have done it on Dynojets.

No bias here.. just stating a fact

Ya, I know....a 450 rwhp Mustang Dyno car is really a 500 rwhp car by those standards.... but is either car really 500 rwhp....probably not.

you may want to hit up cartek...there is a guy on here that put down over 500 rwhp with their stage 4x heads and cam on a stock bottom end. He also has track numbers to back up his dyno numbers. And as for the mustang dyno numbers 450 on a mustang dyno isn't gonna be a 500 hp car. I know a few people that have put down over 450 on mustang dynos and i know their cars definately wouldn't put out 500 on a dynojet.

dude a friend of mine has 07 Z06 and put 456 HP on dyno jet the car is bone stock, and run 11.7s on track with street tiers.

so tell me if its NOT a 500 HP car??? i think the dyno jet is more accurate than mustang dyno, if the dyno put lower number than other doesnt mean its accurate.

anther friend of mine has a camaro and put 453 on dyno jet and run 9.8s on track i call that a BACK UP .

You have it wrong. His car is a 500hp car at the engine, yes. But we're not talking about that. We're talking about rwhp only. Cars that make 500rwhp on dynojets are not making those numbers on mustang dyno's. That's what we're saying.

Congradulations! You think wrong! Go do some research! Do you know what load is applied by a dynojet vs a mustang? Do you know how many other factors are taken into account on a mustang dyno vs a dynojet? Or are you just guessing hoping you're right?

Good for you! Again.. you missed the entire point. We're not talking about 453rwhp cars running 9.8's, we're talking about what numbers the guys making over 500rwhp are putting up, not just what they're putting down.

i know its not makin the same nombers? but wich one is the accurate? and i say the Z06 because it is 500 Bhp car but it does performe like a 500 HP car?

and the load is not the issue. the numbers and the performance is?
