Why do you say you will loose your drivability? I have a MS4 and if I had to I could DD it. Its not that bad with the right tune, and a set of gears. You just cant lug it around like you could when it was stock. Every time you step on the throttle you will be glad you went with a biger cam

I've been running it for about 6 months. Put down about 370 rwhp in my a4 2000 SS (with normal bolt ons) and 385 with a Fast 90 added. My converter was pretty loose for the dyno pulls, so keep that in mind.
I don't have much to compare it to for drivability b/c this is my first cam. It did tend to hang up a bit in the throttle, but the eventually tuned that out. Only other issue is you have to give it some gas on cold starts... but once it settles down after a few seconds, it is fine. I daily drive it, and it has been just fine in traffic. A little bucking at 900-1000 rpm if the converter is locked, but nothing bad.
