Default Question about heads

Im doing a H/C swap soon and im lookn at the stage II LS6 heads and the tr 230 cam. they have the heads in a 59cc and a 64cc. Im kinda a noobie to this maybe someone could explain to me what different size combustion chambers do and which would be best. thanks

The different size combustion chambers change your compression ratio. The smaller the chamber, the higher the compression. A 64cc chamber on a stock LS1 will give you 10.5-10.7 compression depending on the gasket and a 59cc will give you 11-11.3 depending on the gasket.
