ls6 spring question I got a set of ls6 springs with my hot cam. There are two different versions of the ls6 spring. The yellow and the blue. Mine are blue. Which set is better or heavier duty? what are their specs? Can anyone answer this ?

The blue springs REQUIRE a certain break in. Do not forget this. I had 1 fail in the first 2 hours of runtime, supposedly because I had not broken them in correctly. This was with the hotcam, also. I do not remember what the break in entails. Do a search.

I had yellow springs before we swapped over to PRC Gold Extremes. We checked them on the heads before we took them off to .650" lift before binding. May not be useful info but I was surprised.
