Default Darton Sleeves

Can anybody tell me about the darton sleeves as for durabilty in a ls1 block vs the 6.0L iron block. Any comments

Good question.

Not sure about durability but the iron block costs a fraction of a Darton sleeved set up.. I think the Darton sleeves are $1200, a new aluminum block is $1,200 and machining is ....how knows....

They have not been around long enough to test longjevity but the setup of the Darton sleeves can hold plenty of boost or spray. This style block has been around a long time for racing applications I don`t see why they can`t last. As for the weight diff. its way better than trying to make up for an iron block. We have Darton blocks machined and ready to assemble for under $3000+core.
