Default R1 cam for heads/cam car?

Does anyone have an R1 in a stock cubic inch heads/cam motor? I am thinking about going with something around this size and want to know if anyone else has had any experiences with this cam.

I had the R1 in my 383.
Vince has a 232/236 with higher lift than R1 in his 346. Seems to work well.

I'm sure it would be fine, I've got the G5X2 and it's bigger than the R1...
