H/C whats next?
I am new to the LS1 scene and picked up a 98 SS off here a few months back and have been loving every second behind the wheel. My problem is that I just started with these and by what I can tell is that I should be able to get quite a bit more power out of the current set-up but don't know where to start. What would you do next? Here is the list under the hood;
-Patriot Performance Stage 2 heads with heavy duty springs
-TR224 114 LSA cam
-FLP LT Headers
-LS6 intake & oil pump
-160 degree thermostat
-K&N air filter
-hi flow cats w/ borla cat back
-LS7 clutch, hurst shifter
Everything else is stock(not sure about the rod bolts). More air? More fuel?
Thanks for your thoughts in advance

do you know if the guy you bought it off of got a good tune? if not, that would be the first thing on my list. if you don't have an air lid, i'd get one of those...and an underdrive pulley as well (won't give you much HP but lets the engine wind up alot faster).

Hey thanks for the input guys.
I also heard the 98's had smaller injectors. If this is true might those be over worked?
I have to say not knowing about the weaker 98 rod bolts being replaced or not makes me want to shy away from nitrous a bit.
He says it has a "LS1 speed dyno tune" runs smooth, easier then my LT1 to daily drive here and there.
Was thinking Fast 90/90 but not sure if I was making enough power to warrant it without injectors or just a K&N drop in. what should I upgrade the factory air box with?

most people on here like the SLP lid. can be had for under $100, looks good, and fits better than most of the others. i'm pretty sure the '98s came with slightly larger fuel injectors than the other years. they should still be good for your setup.
