Default Cooling system LS1 fbody

I wanting to replace the worn out beat up cooling system in my 99 Z28. I was wondering if anyone out there has used griffin radiators and if so about how much and did you have to put a new fan system in. oh and what did you do with the radiator sensor? i already am going with a 160 degree thermostat although i have been kicking the idea around with running without one. any suggestions.

you shouldn't need to replace the radiator. There are people here with H/C and stock cooling system w/ 181K on the clock. Stock system should be just fine.

change the hoses
flush the radiator
install a 160 stat.....DON'T run without one...the car was designed taht way for a reason!!

if you want throw a new pump on...or an electric unit.

i'd skip the new radiator...unless yours has problems. and if so...buy a stock replacement.
