Modify 5.3 heads IS IT POSSIBLE?

Modify 5.3 heads IS IT POSSIBLE? I have a set of 1.8 roller rockers that are 7/16 studs. I realize now that ls1's require 3/8 studs. Can I modify the heads to use the 7/16 studs. They would be stronger to my understanding. Thought about drilling them out on a press and tapping to size. Is there any recommendations?

If they are an LSX specific rocker then they should be the right size to start with. I wouldn't think that and after market rocker would have a smaller bolt than a factory size.
