Default can someone check my work? (cam dot to dot setup)

I've cranked the motor through 2 complete revolutions but to me the dots just look about 1/2 tooth off.

Can't see the dot on the bottom gear in the pic but if its up it would be correct. There is no way to be a 1/2 tooth off.

I should have marked it but my hdd crashed and I lost photoshop, it's on that tooth directly across from the big dot.

I would have thought the same but it just doesn't look right to me for some reason.

yeah but it's hard to get a good shot with the pump in the way. Just seems that they line up a little off to the right I guess, if you guys say it's good enough I'll roll with it.
