ARP HEADS BOLTS VS STOCK
IM GETTING TEA HEADS AND A CAM INSTALLED ON MY 2000 WS6.I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD USE NEW STOCK GM HEAD BOLTS OR IF I SHOULD USE ARP BOLTS.AM I WASTING MY MONEY GETTING ARP?

If you plan on having the heads off again in the future then the ARP bolts are prolly best since they're reusable. Also ARP bolts just need to be torqued down, none of the torque to yield turn 50* crap you have to deal with w/the stockers.
If you never plan on having the heads off again or only after a few years then you'd prolly be fine w/the stockers (new of course)

Get ARP head studs (not blots...studs).
They are stronger, reuasable, don't cost a lot more than factory bolts, just torque (no angle-torque gauge needed), and having studs in the block actually make is EASIER to install the heads (act as a guide).
