Default Filling a dry engine?

I was just curious if there is any specific way to go about putting radiator in my engine after a full flush of the coolant and head swap install. The engine is bare dry right now with no fluids...not even oil. Do I need to just fill up the thermostat or radiator or what?

Thanks!

Just fill her up and keep it topped off. I poured oil in the heads before I put the valve covers back on though.

Fill coolant into the engine from the top radiator hose (disconnect it from the radiator), once it is filled, reconnect to the radiator and then top off the radiator. Once it is started, turn on the heater to high, once the engine is a bit warmed up, bring up the engine rpm up slowly to 2500-3000 hold it there for a few seconds a few time, this will help too purge all of the air out of the system.

I fill the oil filter up with oil before installing it.

I usually Pour some oil over the rocker and down the push rod to allow oil to coat the lifter and cam and then seal the valve covers.
