Default Any know of broken DART PSI single beehive spring yet as I am runnning boost...

Really prefer dual springs but may be in the market for some DART 225 heads that come with the PSI single beehive springs good for .625 lift. The problem in my mind however is running up to 12 lbs of boost will create a lot more cylinder wall pressure and valve train abuse and are these springs good enough on a somewhat aggessive Comp Cam with XER lobes and specs of 224/230, .581/.592 lift, 114 +2 lsa? Will these springs be good enough for my application which will make around 700rwhp on 12 lbs of boost.

ALso, has anyone heard of one of the DART PSI springs failing yet?

I have not heard of anyone breaking one of these springs. They are nitrided and should provide very good service life. Ringram in the UK has quite a few miles on his, you might PM him and see what he has now. We just did a cam in an 04 Vette and specifically bought the PSI 1511ML springs due to their capability and long life. However, in the end go with what you're comfortable with.

I have a good many miles and a ton of quarter mile passes on my Dart heads and haven't had any problems yet. Knock on wood. My cam is right at .600" lift also. Now that I said this... watch me break a spring at the track this weekend!
