Default ls1 valve cover baffle

How bad is it if you have a set of vavle covers and the baffling up top was removed for an ls1? I have a set with no baffles and wondering if I should use them or not.

You may pull some excess oil through the PCV, but then again, it may not be much more than normal anyway...

If you switch to the LS6 valley cover, no issue at all. The PCV won't plug into the valve covers to draw air. I am in process of this right now, just picked up two valve covers and the valley cover off of fleabay for this very purpose.
