Default Who is running comp r lifters, and likes them?

I put a set of comp r lifters in my car. Im having a hell of a time find rockers that will work. Are these lifters work the headache and extra money for lifters? Do i really need fully adjustable rockers?

I've used Comp R lifters for 4 years - no issues!

My rockers are non-adjustible Terra Yellow 1.7, w/ hardened pushrods.

Quiet as a mouse.

I run them. Them, along with the new Yella Terra Ultralite rockers helped quiet down my valvetrain a great deal. I have them set between .035-.050" plunger depth which is 3/8-1/2 turn of the rocker bolts from 0 lash to 22 lb ft. of torque.

Comp-R's cost my roomate his stroker when one of their retainer springs came out and went into his oil pump...I've seen tons of guys have a hell of a time trying to pre-load them properly too...GM or Morel all day long.

I've seen them come apart on a couple engines with stock, torque-type rockers. But I've run them in my car for 2 seasons with Comp Pro Magnum adj rockers with zero issues.

Running same setup as WAHUSKER for thousands of miles and many years with no problems. Set to ZERO lash and stop turning. Done!

comp says to run them cold at .011 and .04 hot. So maybe people have problems when they use a non adjustable rocker and put stock preload on them which is about.40.

I put some in when I did a head swap, I do have an odd noise under cold start up though. I think it sounds like a lifter
