My brother took apart this ls1 in 02 and i am putting it back together. There is a bolt hole on the rear top of the block right under the intake, its between the x water line rear bots. Its a pretty big hole and i dont know what goes there. I dont have anything to take a picture of it but maybe some one knows. would apreciate the help.

It's either the hole for the cam sensor or the hole for the oil pressure sender.

if it is approx. 1" in diameter that is the cam sensor. the oil pressure sending unit oil is to the right of it if your standing in front of the block.

Well if you stand looking at it from the front it would be on the right rear right in that flat spot under the intake, but behind the intake. I can still get to it even with the intake on.
