Default Rod bearing question

My dad started on my rod bolt install just now, and he says the rod bearing are showing wear and that I should probably replace. He's pretty knowledgable as far as engines go, but the LS1 is foreign to him. What should I do?

Might as well change them while you have it all apart.

No sense in tearing the motor apart twice.
