Default Best quality and price for a cam?

Hey guys,

I need a custom grind cam. Who would be the best company to order that from? I was thinking either Lunati or Comp Cams.

Thanks,

I was thinking of going this route, but I gave in to a good GP price from Thunder. Comp does custom grinds for no extra charge. I think their normal price is a little over $400, though.

I called Lunati and they quoted me $360 for custom grind and only $10 for the shipping if I have a tax ID. The cam I am getting is prbly going to be a 221/221 558/558 114 LSA.

Can you tell me the difference between your custom 221/221 .558/.558 114 cam and regular B1? at least specs are the same.. - do they really allow you to specify your own lobe profiles and is that what you are doing? why?
