I have a 408 with a 4l60e in my 99' TA , I want to install the hurst shifter (v-matic 2)

This isnt the same shifter as me, but they did it, how hard would something like this be to do?

I'm not familiar w/ that shifter, but as long as you can get a shift gate for a 700r4 trans it will work. Some of the shifters only offer gates w/ a shift pattern for th350, th400, and powerglides. The 700r4 uses the same pattern as the 4l60e, but most companys don't market the shifters for the newer tranny. The installation shouldn't be very hard, just mount the shifter and run the shift cable thru the floor down to the tranny.
