Default Wd40 used on engine internals...

Hi all, I pulled my engine out of my car awhile back to do a freshen up on it and I have a question.

I have my engine on the stand and decided to spray wd40 on the bottom of the engine including the rods, rod bolts, crank, mains and main bolts to keep it lubed for a few days before I throw the oil pan back on and put it back in the car.

Spraying wd40 won't penetrate the rod bolts or main bolts and make them loose will it?
I am going to coat everything with motor oil before I put it back in the car but want to make sure that the wd40 won't cause my bolts to loosen up.

Sounds dumb I know but just want to make sure.

wd works better as a water repellent than as a lube.

Motor oil works just fine by itself.

R u guys sure? I would have poured motor oil on the bottom if I had any layin around. I had a can of wd40 so I used that. I just want to make sure it wont cause my bolts to become loose.

Thanks

wd40 sucks, it wont make anything loose that wasn't about to be in the first place. You'll be fine!
