Default Cam Question

I am about to buy the ASA Cam over the Hot Cam. I hear that the ASA is a good DD cam most of the time a DD. That sounds real good and makes good power. If there is a better that sounds better and makes good power let me know its for a DD. Also what kind of springs should I get for this cam?

i've own both the hotcam and currently have the ASA cam in my car. They both sound great and make respectable power. The hotcam will make more low end power while the ASA will have more top end power. The ASA will start making power around 2,500 -2,800 RPM. The lope on the ASA is insane. In regards to springs, you can purchase LS6 springs however, i would recommend getting comp 918's just in case the ASA cam is not for you and want to install a different cam with more lift in the future. Not to be a saleman or anything but i have a great pair of used 918's with titatinium retainers for 210.00 shipped.

Don't narrow your options to those 2. There are cams out there that will do a better job with a bit more thought.
