shelf stock or custom pistons?

shelf stock or custom pistons?
This may not even be possible with a custom piston but what I want is a forged piston set for a LS1 that is compatible with nitrous (200-250 shot), for a 3.905 bore, 4.00 stroke and a 6.200 rod. This will be a pump gas engine. The closest I have found in shelf stock is from Arias but has very little material above the top ring and is a little short between top and 2nd rings as well for nitrous use.
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated, Thanks, Carl.

With the right ring gaps, any off the shelf JE piston will handle that kind of nitrous use - I know they have a flat top piston in that size. With a good tune and no detonation you will never have a problem.

Run a shorter rod. With a heavy nitrous load you want to be moving the top ring down, not up. Why wouldn't you just run the "standard" aftermarket 6.125" rod? Or you could step up to a tall deck block...

Machinistone, I looked at JE's website and didn't find such a piston, I plan to gap the rings for nitrous use but thanks for the suggestions, they are appreciated!
Gannet, I already have the 6.200 rods . I know I want to move the rings down I re-read My post but didn't see where I gave that idea?? Thanks for the suggestions as I don't claim to be a guru.
Update...I should have just done the math before posting such a question, with a 6.200 rod and a 4.00 stroke that leaves only 1.050 for comp. height which makes for a short ring pack to be running much nitrous...duh, sorry for bothering everyone. Now if they made a pin with a diameter of say .727...oh well I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. Carl.
