they were real helpful

didn't have anything they could email me. guy ended up giving me the torque spec, but none of the other install instructions. why does everything have to be so damn difficult? I guess its my fault for losing the damn sheet though

If you have the torque spec, it's really easy.

1. Torque them down, then break them loose
2. Torque them down, then break them loose
3. Torque them down. You're done.

Make sure to use assembly lube.

You are going to need to preload the bolts, torqueing them down is not enough. You must torque them down to the 75ftpd's and then use a rod bolt stretch guage to get the proper pre-load on them. I forget what the proper pre-load is but it is neccesary.

Torque to 40 ft lbs
break loose
torque to 40 ft lbs again
break them loose again
torque to 40 ft lbs for the final time

That is to stretch the bolt and have it seated properly.
