Default 4.10 gears

I was thinking about installing some 4.10 gears in my M6 car. and I was curious to know what happens to gas mileage and what kind of RPMs do they run at on the highway and such. thanks

I didnt notice much difference in MPG to be honest. I used to drive on the highway at 70 in fifth gear. After gears I drove the same speed in 6th.

But to answer your question it is up to you to determine how much it will effect your gas mileage.

Just shift normally and compensate for crusing speed with 5th or 6th gear and you wont see a difference.

before this gets moved to the gears and axle section......
You'll still get decent gas mileage. It's a manual. You can drive it however you want. Try a search, you should find quite a bit of info on this subject.
