Default LS1 Pete Jackson Gear drive...

I saw it listed on jegs. Who's using it and whats your opinions.? I thought the ls didnt have any gear drive options but they have it listed?

I wasn't aware of one either...I didn't think knock sensors would get a long with them among other things.

Strange, I've never seen those on an ls1. I had a noisy gear drive on my solid roller 455 pontiac, sounded wicked, and hardly even wore when I took it apart.

I dont see it listed on the net .. But I got a catalog in the mail and it had it listed with the lt1.. It might just be a miss print.

Id like to see how they could fit the crank gear around the oil pump and clear it for the drive gears.

Well if your not running knock sensors I dont see it being a problem but, on a stock engine I say no way.

Most radical setups dont waste their time with knock sensors...


If they have a quiet version like they do with SBC/BBC stuff, it would be pretty neat...
