Default smallest stall possible T rex and 4:10's.

What it be possible to run a T-rex on a vig 3600 stall and gears 3:90 or 4:10.
Other mods are flowtech longtubes, ory, lid/filter, 100 shot dry kit. I plan on doing alot of roll racing with 100 hit of nitrous with this setup..

That 3600 will probably be fine from a roll; but a T-Rex is not the kind of cam one gets when they are limited on what stall speed they want............

well vig offers one free restall but I don't wanna wait for the down time, I wanted to put the cam in now just to have it and then do the restall maybe 6 months down the road.

You'll be fine esp. with the 100 shot. That will flash the converter to 4000+ anyway.

The cam is a Marshmellow south of 4000 rpms, but from a roll your already revving higher then idle and the 4.10 gears are a definite help in the auto tranny, I would think with stall, gear and racing situation your more then fine. Anything more may hurt in a roll race.

I would certainly agree, Stalled automatics is not the weapon of choice for a roll race but unless its a option for him to change, he has to run with what he has.

i thought a vig3600 was about the same as a yank ss4000? If so, shouldn't he be fine with this cam? I do think he is at disadvantage racing from a role rather than from out of the whole though.

Well the shift extentions are too low for this cam and the low gears won't help any.

This is a max effort cam that should have 4.11s and at least a PT4200 to YPT 4400 stall

well I didn't order it yet but what do you guys think about MS4 or MS3 on a 111lsa.
and I was also told that the vig 3600 stalls like a yank 4000. but I wouldn't know this is the first auto I've ever owned.

i never will understand why people try to toss a hodge-podge of parts together and "make" it work as opposed to getting a properly setup and matched combo. I guess marketing peaky numbers to the masses works!
