I'm assuming ported heads will flow better at 600 lift. Looks like my cam is going to be choked a little

that covers some of the heads but what about say the 243 non ls6 heads?

Wouldn't the flow numbers be the same? I thought the only difference between the two was that the LS6 heads have sodium filled valves?

That's right, the heads are identical to LS6 heads except for the sodium filled valves and the flow numbers would be indentical.

SANTIAGO, thanks for posting the above I did not realize stock LS6 heads in these ranges which are way less than a good ported LS6 head.
