I've got one of these kits (the one listed at the top), and noticed it came with a new lower timing gear (the one that fits over the crank). It doesn't look any different from stock. Does anyone know if I need to replace the stocker with the one that came in the kit? The teeth seem to have the same spacing and width as stock, and the chain seems to have the same tension on it with the upper comp gear compared to the replacement. I ask because I don't have a gear puller with which I could remove the lower gear.
