Ls6 Stg 2.5 Heads And V.3 Cam
Anyone Running This Combo With No Milling Done And A .040 Cos Head Gasket. The Mechanic That Has My Car Said That The Pistion Is Hitting The Head With That Cam , But Jason Assured Me There Is No Way That Is Possible , But Anyway I Seem To Be Screwed Not Sure How Much Damage Was Done . But I Just Spent 2300.00 On Something That I Can Drive Or Use Now!

I'm interested in information about heads for the torquer 3 cam also. Love the cam, just on the never ending quest for more power.
It's posible that I may acquire some Patriot stage 2 heads in the near future. I'll probably just call TSP once/if I get them, but I'm subscribing to this thread just in case.

they are the stage 2.5 PRC 5.3's right? What size are the valves? If you pulled the heads off and the pistons have eybrows on them, then I don't care what Jason says, the valves are hitting the pistons. What CC were the combustion chambers when purchased?
edit: also.. you could have been a tooth off on the cam install? maybe it wasn't installed straight up, and it was put in advanced.. or there was a lot of slack in the chain, etc... etc..
always check ptv clearance before you bolt the heads down for good.. all it takes is a little clay.
