Default 226/226 cam and z06 heads...worth it?

Trying to save as much money as possable but still hit my 400 rwhp goal.

Been looking at patriot cams. Anyone with stock ls6 heads and a cam with full bolt ons hit 400?

Car is a auto 4 99 corvette

You can hit 400 with cam only and bolt ons. But to answer your question, yes you should be able to hit that number with that cam, LTs, X and catback, LS6 intake and ported TB. Of course a good PRO tune

I have LS6 Heads, 224/228/114 cam, tuned, Full bolt-ons and hit 412/400 RW on a 90 degree humid day with under inflated tires thru a Moser 12 bolt.

I am collecting parts for a cam swap in my '99 FRC, and I too purchased the Patriot 226/226 .585"/.585" 112° cam. With my stock heads, I am just expecting 370s or so. I expect to tear into it in the next couple of weeks. Just waiting on my replacement Powerbond pulley that FedEx trashed in shipping.

It would save me roughly 700 dollars if i went this route.

Anyone see it not working to get me to my 400 rwhp goal with this cam and the ls6 z06 heads?

Car will be PRO dyno tuned at east coast supercharging

Only way u wont see 400 is prolly cause its an A4 and maybe if ur baseline before the mods was low....like if u made 300hp dont expect 100hp from such a small cam.
