Default Are these springs good enough for me??

off 243 casting 2005 corvette heads, but they are the same yellow springs found on the C5 Z06's

max lift ~.580

O.D
I.D:
seat pressure: 90 @ 1.800
open pressure: 294 @ ?

Would these springs work well enough for the cam I'm putting in??
(218/224 .555/.556 115+4)

Would they fit on my 853 heads on my 99 z28 just how they come??

Most people say those are good for .550 max lift. I've never personally checked the coil bind on those springs to verify how much lift they can take w/o binding. I run them in my 5.3, but w/ only .510/.511 lift. Measure your your actual installed height(probably 1.77) and the coil bind of the spring.

I just did a search and found the coil bind is 1.16. So you should be okay.

thanks a lot, I appreciate it! Soo hmm there's some of these springs in the used section for $70 shipped, but they have 8k miles on them. Hmmm you guys think I should buy em?? I'm kinda trying to do a budget build, but I wouldnt obviously want to do anything that's bad for my motor...

Would they work. Sure. If it was me I'd spend the extra 60 bucks and get a set of PAC-1218s from SDPC.

Yep just decided to go with the PAC's. $129 bucks or whatever from SDPC is cheap and they are BETTER than the comp 918's... won't have to worry bout breakin em due to faulty parts
