Default ls6 cam with stock 241 casting springs

is the ls6 gonna be ok with the stock ls1 springs are do i have to put bigger springs??

No the stock springs wont be enough. Run Comp Cams 918 springs with 7.40 pushrods. The 918 are rated to 600 lift.

Comp 918 spring quality is really suspect right now. Just get the GM LS6 spring kit, part # 12499224. You can get them for $65 or less from any GM dealer or SDPC.

I'd get these LS6 springs and call it a day!

yea I honestly wouldnt run the stock LS1 springs with anything other than a stock LS1 cam. From what I've read they are barely good enough for the stock cam, so spend $65 and get the LS6 springs...cheap insurance...
