Default High Milage LS1 power?

What kind of numbers could I expect from a 100k mi 1999 vette through the 6 speed?

The engine is completely stock and has had every milage service.

By now, it's probably fairly loose. I would expect some OK #'s, but don't push it.

Depends on what bolt-ons your bolt on... I had 104,000k on my ls1, and my all motor numbers were 462/393... All I did was H/C/I, pulley, and fuel injectors.

I am going to run the car stock for the time being. I am hoping it can do at least a 13.3 at the track. It is the fixed roof coupe.

I had driven another 99 vette coupe with 55k on it and it felt very loose. This 100k one felt very tight in comparison. An older gentlemen has owned the car since mile 1 and it has mostly highway miles from trips to florida.

Within the next month probably an intake system and a catback. When spring time comes possibly a mild h/c

I made my dyno pulls with about 110K on the motor. roughly 320 wrhp. As long as the engine was taken care of properly it should still be pretty tough.

i only put down 295 with full exhaust,ls6 intake,lid..and 130,000. i've heard of cat-back only cars making 300...i was disappointed.

I just did a cam swap with 127,000 miles on the clock and I am requesting that the tuner rev it to 6500 rpm. He is going to run it to 6000 RPM as a "shake down" run...if all looks OK, then he will nail it.
These engines are very stout and IMO can take a fair amount of punishing.
Hell, if it breaks, I'll fix it and make it better!

I wouldn't expect to see the numbers drop off much at all...I'd expect to see close to 290-300 rwhp from a bone stock Vette.

I know its not exactly the same, but the durability of an LS engine is incredible... I have almost 120K on my cam only 5.3 and its taken a bottle of nitrous every two weeks at a 150 shot since 85K miles... and has absolutely no compression loss, smoke, or any sign of it slowing down any time soon... I'm sure you're vette's motor is plenty healthy if taken care of properly. hell, once they start to loose s a little compression, boost/spray the hell out of it

I bought my '99 FRC with 115k miles, and the engine is still very happy at 132k. I have added a Vararam, long tubes, Borla catback, and will probably start my cam replacement this weekend. Don't over heat them, detonate, or lean them out and they will last for a long time. My old '94 Silverado has 306k miles on the original 350, and still going.

Mileage is how far the car has traveled. It has little to do with how well a car will run. I have a 1999 vette w/ 150k on it, it runs as good as it did the day it rolled off the line. One could have a 200k highway car thats in better overall running shape than a car with 20k miles on it that was beat and **** pounded and not taken care of.
Point being.....If your looking for something to gauge a car on, mileage means very little.
If it doesnt smoke, there probably isnt anything wrong with it.

Dynoed my M6 Formula at 109K miles
She did 300 RWHP and 322 RWTQ on the original clutch
Only mods were a Lid and a Flowmaster SOTL Catback.
Car still runs strong but IMO it has lost a little power in the last 20K or so.
