Default hyd roller cam ?

i'm looking to see if any one makes a cam in the 250/260 duration range @ 50. with around .650 lift.

also what lifters would you guys recomend, going to spin the engine to about 7700 rpms tops..

i need the big cam to take advantage of the ported L92s i'm going with and the car is going to be drove on the street so i dont want to be adj the valves every other day.

thanks

Your going to need one hell of a tuner, also I dont know any hyd lifter that will survive with the required spring pressure to keep that lifter in place. Maybe a Morel but I would talk with a Sponored engine builder/cam guru.

run a solid roller cam setup the lash correctly +youll run 8000+ rpm reliably
and never need to worry about resetting lash for years if you don't come into problems.
you can run say a wade 1501a solid roller 801+ lift/ 296 duration@0.050 if you like then
or something more easily obtainable from your local cam grinding guru.

i found a texas speed cam that i like but aint sure if its solid roller or hyd roller.

but they have a kit at a nice price.

as for the tuner its going to be a carb engine..will have a 950 carb on her.

if some one made shaft roller rockers for the L92 heads i would for sure go solid roller, but with just the stock rockers i'm sure lash will have to be done ever week.

I know a guy that ran a .675 lift hyd roller. Go with some Morel lifters and get the preload to where Morel recommends it.

i know one bloke ran jessel rockers and they broke @7000rpm
i also know another bloke who ran dual mounted independant shaft rockers run up to 8000 rpm + many years without any problems.i built one engine with experimental no name staggered ratio rockers + only 3/8 studs+ girdle bars on a small block + handled 9000rpm no sweat with no rev kit, which incidentaly cost a fraction of the jessels.
the jessels are the reputable ducks guts of rockers, howerver if one does not account
for correct integration + geometry,p-v+spring rates even the best rockers will break.
conversely if short n sweet is your goal the texas kits seem real good value for money
should make more than enough power for the most competent steerer with locker diff on the twisty bends and in slimy conditions.
drag racing+dynos are another issue way way easier to nail the throttle hard
and look like a champ:just like observing the telegraph poles
problem there is never enough of them
