Default please read: problem after cam install..never heard of this

ok, so sunday i was able to get it to start and idle fine after some work, it was its first time..so after awhile it sounds like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tskKVcOuApQ

ok sounds good...now, i go away to school for the week, come home today..go to start it up...and it labors at like 500 rpms, then shoots itself up to 4000 rpms...then comes down and kills itself off below 500 rpms...it did this twice. also, i let it go the second time to the 4000 and anticipated when it came down i would try to pedal it to keep it alive at around 1000 to idle and got no throttle response...

please help!!
the computer was tuned by HP tuners, he knew all of my mods and what not...why in the world would it idle fine like in the clip (that took a while to get it to do that) and now a week later it does this!?

I'd loosen the intake. Dont take it out, but just lift it up to unseat it from the heads.

Then seat it again and tighten the bolts down in the correct sequence and torque them properly. See if that fixes your problem.

theres only a few hoses that would constitute checking right? i mean, hose wise im not sure what it would be....i am beginning to question the intake manifold myself...do you think it would be a gasket issue? i used the gasket that came with the mani new

it has to be something silly......check and re-check everything...i know you hate hearing that but it must be done....did you get the 02 extensions?...when i fired mine up the first time i was so excited i left the damn 02's out...once i plugged them it took a solid 15min before the car would idle on it;s own.....thats even with the 90/90 that comes with the adjustable throttle screw
dont feel too bad this happens to everyone in one form or another
