hissing noise in high revs

Unhappy hissing noise in high revs
hey guys my ls1 has a hissing noise when i rev it hard any ideas on what it could be???

vaccum leak maybe, or an exhaust leak somehwere after the y pipe. Can you tell if its coming from the engine bay

sure is it won't make the noise all the time and theres no real pattern some times it's there some times it's not (weird)it's only around 5,000-6,500 rpm

do you have an aftermarket lid? sometimes those make a hissing noise, usually can hear it inside the car when its reved high tho

yeah sounds like it is just the intake sucking in air, mine makes a noise that sounds like a BOV when i shift sometimes that is caused by my lid and smooth bellows i think
